Striking Stems believes planning your wedding should be a fun, comfortable journey.  We invite you to contribute your own ideas to the designing process, resulting in bouquets and arrangements reflective of your individuality, making your event unique and true to who you are. Your flowers will help tell your story.

Our Story

We feel very blessed to offer our services to the greater Houston area. From attending the same high school to graduating from Texas A&M University, our friendship has grown over many years. We individually worked as floral designers before deciding to collaborate our creativity to form Striking Stems.

We are excited about working with you to create exactly what you hoped for and more!

Sandy Eckert – Owner/Floral Designer

After earning my degree from Texas A&M University, I took classes in floral design and designed for my first wedding 12 years ago.  I have years of experience in the bridal industry, not only in floral design, but also from working as an assistant to one of Houston’s top wedding photographers.

Ashley Jensen – Owner/Floral Designer

After graduating from Texas A&M University, I was determined to put my creativity to good use. Eventually, I became a floral designer for weddings, combining my love of beautiful flowers with my passion to design.
